Iron Gorilla Signs EU Code of Practice on Transparency of AI-Generated Content

Iron Gorilla today announced that Team Clarity, Inc., doing business as Iron Gorilla, has signed and submitted its Declaration of Adherence to the European Union’s Code of Practice on Transparency of AI-Generated Content.

Iron Gorilla signed in its capacity as a provider of generative AI systems and committed to Section 1 of the Code, which addresses the marking and detection of AI-generated and manipulated content.

The voluntary Code supports implementation of the transparency obligations established under Article 50 of the EU AI Act. These obligations include measures intended to make certain AI-generated or manipulated content identifiable through machine-readable marking and detection techniques.

As part of its Section 1 commitment, Iron Gorilla will continue developing platform capabilities supporting:

• Machine-readable identification of covered AI-generated and manipulated content;
• Content provenance and generation records;
• Preservation of relevant upstream model markings and metadata;
• Detection and verification mechanisms;
• Versioned records identifying the agents, models, policies, and tools involved in producing content;
• Testing of marking durability across common formats, transformations, and distribution channels; and
• Customer controls for implementing transparency requirements across deployed agents.

This step marks a commitment to follow the Code’s measures as a framework for demonstrating compliance with applicable EU AI Act transparency obligations.

“Enterprises will not be able to govern autonomous systems through policies and promises alone,” Hartmann added. “They will need enforceable controls, verifiable provenance, persistent evidence, and the ability to reconstruct agent behavior. Those requirements are central to the platform we are building.”

The transparency obligations under Article 50 of the EU AI Act become applicable on August 2, 2026.
